Brady Beck – Wildlife Photographer

BRADY BECK
Pinehurst, North Carolina
Brady was born in West Lafayette, Indiana, and moved with his family to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1986.  Six years later, in 1992, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Science from North Carolina State University.  Following graduation, he worked as a biologist for several conservation groups in the Sandhills region of North Carolina. He currently works as a Land Manager and Wildlife Biologist, studying Red-cockaded Woodpeckers.

His photography interest grew out of a desire to capture on film the unique habitats and animals he saw throughout his daily field work.  He is passionate about conserving the remaining Longleaf Pine ecosystem in the Sandhills, as well as educating others about the beauty and diversity of plant and animal life that rely on a healthy ecosystem.  His sensitive and often dramatic photographs reflect this passion.
