Diane describes herself as a self-taught artist, who works mostly in Tiffany method stained glass. She says her works tend to be more quirky than traditional. She loves shapes, colors, and forms and prefers asymmetrical pieces to square or rectangular ones. More “beach” than Victorian. Diane has also done several commissioned pieces, including large installations in homes and businesses. However she describes her work, most observers might just call it “spectacular.”
Professionally, Diane has a masters’ degree in Social Work, and certifications in public health and medical ethics. She worked for many years in a large hospital corporation as well as a private psychotherapy practice.
Diane and her husband, Rich, moved to Pinehurst recently from Cape May, NJ to be near their daughter and her husband, and, perhaps more importantly, their two grand-daughters, Paloma Jean and Dahlia Mae. Whatever the reason, we are thrilled to have both Diane and Rich as part of the One of a Kind Gallery family.
