Sunnye Keeley was born in Australia, but moved with her family to the United States when she was still a small child. She grew up in northern Illinois, but in her adult life, she has lived in a multitude of states, following a multitude of passions. Presently, she lives in the Denver area to be near her two children, but, more specifically, her two granddaughters, Alexandria and Adelaide.
She has worked as a teacher, as a counselor, and as an artist . She calls herself a “hobby artist,” because she has explored so many different kinds of art. Her hands are always moving, and her mind is always learning. Her current creative passions are dichroic glass (gorgeous, iridescent pieces shown here in One of a Kind Gallery), knitting, sewing, pottery (she volunteers as a pottery teacher for high school students), and gardening.
She is also an avid bicyclist (having ridden from San Diego, CA, to St. Augustine, FL, about four years ago) and loves the maintenance aspect of cycling. As creative as Sunnye is, one can only imagine the inventions she has added to her own bike.
